Blake Vrieze moved to the Gulf Coast at the age of 16 when his father’s employer began construction of Berg Pipe. After spending much of his early life moving from state to state, he found his home on the Gulf Coast. He went on to attend the University of South Alabama where he would graduate with a degree in English Literature and Letters before earning his Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law. 

Upon passing the Alabama Bar Exam, Blake returned to his home county to work as a state prosecutor with the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office, representing the State of Alabama in both civil and criminal cases. After leaving public service in August of 2021, Blake joined a law firm in Mobile, Alabama, focusing on Family Law and Criminal Defense, and used his trial experience and knowledge of the court system to zealously represent the interests of his clients. 

In 2023, Blake decided to establish his own practice with the goal of offering high quality, ethical representation to clients throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. 

Outside the courtroom, Blake trades his suits for boots, blue jeans, and a baseball cap. He is most often found chasing after his two daughters or wrangling one of the many rescue dogs his wife brought home over the years. Though he grew up singing “Rocky Top” and sporting that infamous puke in a pumpkin orange, you’ll find him proudly wearing crimson and singing “Rammer Jammer” instead.
